Joyce Meyer

This past Friday, my wife was blessed to be able to to with a group of ladies from Joplin Full Gospel. I want to give you two or three paragraphs from something she picked up there.

"MAKING EVERY DAY MATTER
Making every day matter. No, it's not hard, but it's not exactly easy either. Sometimes we wake up on the wrong side of the bed, and smiling at the first person we see isn't always at the top of our list of things to do for the day. But, that's where making every day matter, comes into play.

That's where love steps in and we make an effort to respond to a situation in love rather than to respond based on how we feel at the moment

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (KJV)
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

These Scriptures describe the character of God showing us His passion for loving others. Because it is a description of love, it is an example of what we need to do to walk in love.....live is patient, kind, not rude.....even first thing in the morning before we have had our coffee.

Every day we are a representation of Christ to the world, and for this reason, we should so our best to make every day matter, to make every action matter, and to carry out every action in love."

Making today matter, because you may not have a tomorrow!!
